A man in Britain’s south-west is being treated for serious injuries after he was stabbed while waiting for his family to go to hospital.
Chatham Orthopedics said the man was taken to hospital after the attack in the town of Newburn on Monday.
A spokesman for the local coroner said the 31-year-old suffered serious injuries and is in a stable condition.
A spokesperson for NHS England said: “We are treating this incident as a suspected stabbing and have referred it to the police for further investigation.”
