Joe B. “Joey” Bailiffs, Jr. is a Sports Medicine Specialist at Syracuse University, where he is also the Vice President of Orthopedic Sports Medicine.
He is a former NBA player and coach, serving as the Syracuse head coach from 1998-2002.
He was named the head basketball coach at the University of Washington from 2011-14 and has also served as an assistant coach for the Washington Huskies, Virginia Tech Hokies and the Syracuse Bobcats.
Bailills was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team in 2013, earning First Team All-Defensive Team honors and being named to both the First Team and Second Team All Pro teams in 2015.
Prior to joining the NBA, he served as the Assistant Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist at the Syracuse University Men’s Tennis Center.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Syracuse University.
Bailingiff has served as a coach for more than a decade, including coaching in the NBA for the Philadelphia 76ers from 2000-04.
